About Jan Louis

Passionate about tax and client service, Jan Louis is dedicated to delivering exceptional value to his clients through meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence.

Jan Louis completed his training contract with ASL in 2016 and was promoted to manager of our tax department in 2017, followed by his appointment as associate in January 2025. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in dealing with the South African Revenue Service (SARS), specializing in tax administration and compliance. His deep understanding of the South African tax landscape and hands-on approach make him a valuable resource for clients navigating the complexities of the South African tax system.

Jan Louis holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation from the University of South Africa (UNISA). His passion for tax drives him to stay at the forefront of industry developments, enabling him to provide clients with effective, compliant, and forward-thinking solutions tailored to their unique circumstances.

Jan Louis is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and a qualified AGA(SA).
