Jaco obtained a BCompt and BCompt Hons through Unisa. He completed his articles with Diemont, Zimmerman & Bolink in Polokwane and qualified as a chartered accountant in 2010.
After gaining experience as a financial manager at a law firm based in Cape Town, Jaco joined ASL in 2011 as an audit manager. In January 2013, he was promoted to associate and director in 2014.
With a keen eye for detail and profound technical knowledge, Jaco also furthered his studies by completing an Advanced Programme in Taxation in 2014, which further enables him to provide his clients with a comprehensive service solution.
Jaco is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), the Independent Regulatory Board of Auditors (IRBA), and the Fiduciary Institute of Southern Africa (FISA).
