As we embark on the last quarter of 2022, we are taking this opportunity as a business to pause – to reflect over the previous months with gratitude, wisdom and insight and to look towards the future with hope and anticipation, steadfast in who we are.

With this reflection comes the opportunity to learn and grow, and we would like to share some of our insights with you as we move toward 2023.

First and foremost, we once again realised that our people are our biggest asset. Our team has come together this year, supporting and encouraging each other, and we are proud that they continue to provide our clients with excellent service and advice.

We have also learnt that agility is vital when it comes to business, since the beginning of our business, but especially the last three years. Adaptability has been vital to our growth and success and will continue to be so in the future.

Finally, we have learnt that staying true to our values is more important than ever. In a constantly changing world, our values provide an anchor. They guide our decisions and help us to stay focused on what is truly important.

In the future, we will continue to build on these learnings and remain committed to delivering the best possible experience for our clients.

With these insights firmly in our minds, we will say goodbye to Arnold Scholtz with peace of mind at the end of December 2022.

After almost two decades as director at ASL, Arnold will leave a big void, but we are also now giving him the time to focus full-time on his other passions and interests. (Please read more about this on Page 6.)

Our collective team of almost 100 has always been committed to providing our clients with the highest standard of service. We will continue this commitment and build on our existing relationships.

We look forward to the future with hope and anticipation, knowing that we will continue to be who we are – a group committed to our values and clients.
