About Desiree

Desireé is an experienced professional specialising in audit and assurance with a strong background in project management. Known for her technical expertise and client-centric approach, Desireé delivers high-quality results while fostering strong relationships with clients.

Desireé obtained her BAcc and BAccHons degrees from Stellenbosch University before starting her training contract with ASL Group in 2017, followed by her appointment as assistant audit manager in 2019. In early 2020, she broadened her experience through a secondment at a New York City based audit firm. After qualifying as a chartered accountant in 2020, Desireé was promoted to audit manager and, most recently, to associate in 2025.

Desireé is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and is in the process of registering with the Independent Regulatory Board of Auditors (IRBA).
