ASL welcomes the following new staff members who joined the firm over the past couple of months in various departments.
Willrene Nero, from Porterville, joined ASL in April 2022 as accountant in the Business Solutions Division. She completed her degree in BCom Financial Accounting through UNISA in 2021.
Furthermore, in May 2022, Nadine Stander joined ASL as an accountant in the Business Solutions Department. Nadine relocated from Potchefstroom, where she completed her BCom Financial Accounting degree at the North-West University.
ASL gladly welcomes a familiar face, Sonja Jordaan. She started working in the Finance Department as debtors clerk. Sonja started in March 2022, and she is already making a valuable contribution to the department.
ASL is excited to confirm that Simoné Schmidt, who has worked as Assistant Manager in the Audit and Assurance Division, has been promoted to Assistant Manager in the Tax Compliance Division. Simoné completed her SAICA training contract at ASL in 2021. We are truly excited to see Simoné in this new role and we know that she will add a lot of value to the department.
We regret to announce that both Jacqueline Peach and Izell van Dyk, who worked as debtors clerks in the Finance Department, left ASL’s service. We wish them both success for the future.
Cherie Zoghby and Heide Nel, who worked in the Business Solutions Department as CIMA trainees, both accepted new positions out of practice and our best wishes accompany them in their new roles.
We also wish Maritza du Preez the best and plenty of success in her new position. She was employed as Legal Consultant in ASL Advisory on a fixed-term contract.
